Ordinary People, Extraordinary Stories is a community-based project by The Sicilian Association of Australia, dedicated to sharing stories about Sicilians in Australia.

All of the stories in this collection have been written and generously contributed by Sicilian Australians about their own migration stories. Because of this, some of the stories may include factual or grammatical errors. It is an important part of this project that the stories are mostly unedited and told through the perspective of the author. For this reason, we only provided editing suggestions where they were necessary for clarity.
